The invention concerns a heating system and a method for producing a wall element equipped with a heater. To keep the heater 2 invisible it is placed within the wall element 1, most suitably within the supporting concrete layer 10 lying closest to the room. The wall element is produced according to the invention in a horizontal plane as follows: an outer concrete layer is first cast relative to the room; heat insulation is placed on the cast concrete layer; a covering mesh is placed on the heat insulation; a link heater is placed on the cover mesh, which is a known electric heating cable or a flow tube with internal circulation; the heater is attached to the cover mesh, and finally a second support concrete layer is cast on the heater. <IMAGE>
