This unit comprises a first portion 1, in the form of a sector of a circle, which links with a second portion 2 with six curvilinear sides 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8. Two small opposite concave sides 3 and 6 have the same radius of curvature as the sector of a circle of the first portion 1, and the other four 4, 5, 7 and 8, the same length apart, have a greater radius of curvature. Two of them 5, 8 are concave and the other two 4, 7 are convex. This allows the slabs to be set out in different configurations even in the same area of paving. <IMAGE>
