A method for reducing the number of bite damaged furskins in furfarming consists in placing items (1) appealing to the playing instinct of the animals in their habitat, i.e. their cages. A suitable appliance (1) for use as a playing item is useful in keeping the attention of the animals, especially in the breeding of mink, when it is mainly shaped as a cup. |
