The multi-speed transmission has input shaft (AN), output shaft (AB), four planetary gear sets (RS1,RS2,RS3,RS4), eight rotatable shafts (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) and five control elements (A,B,C,D,E) whereby internal gear (HO4) of fourth planetary gear set and input shaft are interconnected and form first shaft. An internal gear (HO2) of the second planetary gear set and a web (ST3) of the third planetary gear set and the output shaft are constantly connected with one another and forms the second shaft. A sun gear (SO3) of the third planetary gear set forms the fifth shaft. A sun gear (SO2) of the second planetary gear set and a web (ST4) of fourth planetary gear set are connected with each other and forms the seventh shaft.
