The invention concerns cement slurries containing silica and more particularly those containing micro-silica. Polymelamine sulfonate is used as the dispersing agent. Contrary to currently-used dispersing agents, this agent is capable of compensating for the serious difficulties caused by the presence of silica in circumstances requiring its use.
