Fuel injection pump for internal combustion engines with a plurality of pump elements (2; 3) arranged in series, the start and/or end of whose delivery is actuated by a respective control slide valve (9) axially displacable on the pump piston (3) and by controlling relief ducts (22 - 25) of the pump working chambers (18). The control slide valves (9) are operated via a torsion shaft (12), the control slide valves (9) being axially displaced via carrier arms (15), which are fixed to the torsion shaft (12), when the torsion shaft (12) turns. In order to adjust the stroke position of the individual control slide valves (9) in relation to one another the carrier arms (15) are permanently deformed in the stroke direction of the control slide valves (9). ……
