<p>1 - Device for motor vehicle axle comprising a conical couple, the crown (7) of which is mounted in a bridge housing (1) and on a flange (2) which is centred and fixed on the said bridge housing (1), characterised in that an inlet housing (3) closes the said bridge housing (1), on which it is centred and fixed, the said inlet housing (3) supporting a pair of reduction pinions (4) and (5) by way of roller bearings (11, 12, 13, 14), the driving reduction pinion (4) being fitted on an input shaft (17, 23). The driven reduction pinion (5) being fitted on the drive pinion (6) of the conical couple so as to be capable of varying the distance in the vertical plane between the input axis (9) of the movement and the axis (10) of the differential as required.</p> |
