The invention relates to a cuboid container hopper 1 which can be transported by cable roll-off, hook slide-off and multi-bucket dumping vehicles since it has engagement devices for the hoisting gear of all three types of vehicle. Mounted on the cuboid container hopper 1 are parallel receiving rails 7 which rest on the dumping frame 39 of a transporting vehicle 38. Arranged on these receiving rails 7 is a spreading linkage with which the container hopper 1 can be pushed forwards from the dumping frame 39 of the transporting vehicle to stand it upright when setting it down. <IMAGE>
