In a mixer battery for an open-outlet water heater, a first valve 2 for controlling the cold-water feed rate and a second valve 2' for controlling the temperature are arranged in the battery body 1. The first valve 2 comprises a valve top part 21 with an axially displaceable closure piece 23 having a cylindrical end portion 24 with a sealing plate 25 at the end to control the cold-water inlet. The second valve 2', which is connected to the first valve 2 via a feed bore 13 and, with its axially displaceable closure piece 21, controls, in opposite directions, a feed bore 13 leading to the water heater and a coaxial feed bore 18 leading to the outlet 16, has a valve top part 21 of the same construction as the first valve 2. Its cylindrical end portion 24 controls the coaxial feed bore forming the valve seat 152 and leading to the outlet 18, 16. With such a mixer battery, it is possible to use two standardised inexpensive valve top parts of the same construction which significantly reduce the total production costs of such a mixer battery. <IMAGE>
