The glass-covered pergola consists of a series of uprights (2), connected at the top by a lengthwise beam (3) and a series of rafters (9). Rafters have one end resting on the beam (3) and the other fixed against the wall of the house. The rafters support glazing bars (11) with seals (16) for the glass sheets (7). The lengthwise beam and rafter ends can be equipped with extension pieces (20), joined to the beam and rafter by connecting blocks. All the main components can be made e.g. from extruded aluminium. |
