Compounds of the formula I <IMAGE> in which R<1> stands for hydrogen, methyl, ethyl, n-propyl or n-butyl, R<2> stands for CO2R<3> or CH2R<4>, where R<3> denotes C2H5, n-propyl, isopropyl, n-butyl or isobutyl and R<4> denotes OH, OSO2C6H5, tosyl, Br or I, a process for their preparation and their use for the preparation of pheromones of leaf miners.
