A friction clutch comprises a clutch cover 3 of sheet metal, which is made generally pot-shaped and rests in abutting manner on a fly-wheel surface 13 extending perpendicularly of the axis of rotation. For the mutual fixing of fly-wheel 2 and clutch cover 3, the clutch cover is provided in the region 18 of its pot-shaped formation with radially inwardly extending recesses 19 which correspond with pins 14 inserted into the fly-wheel 2. Thus in the case of friction clutches with limited radial space conditions a simple and space-saving possibility of fixing between clutch cover and fly-wheel is provided. Fastening screws (15) (Fig 1) secure the cover to the flywheel. <IMAGE>
