This invention is a method to make a forging die for needle. In this forging die making process two rectangular bodies are chamfered on one of each corner to form inclined surfaces. By combination of the two bodies a V-shape forging groove is formed. In this case, the surfaces adjacent to the chamferings are in contact with each other.
