The forceps, in particular claw-shaped cutters, comprises an arrangement wherein the distal end of the forceps shaft (1) is provided with a perforation (2a) of one fixed jaw (2) of the forceps bit, with which jaw a two-armed, pivotable bit jaw (4a) interacts by means of a scissor grip (9a, 9b) and a push-pull rod (7, 8). A shaft slot (3) adjoins the perforation (2a) of the fixed bit jaw (2), its end edge forming a stop (9) for a graduating surface (10) of the pull rod which comes to bear in the closed position of the bit, and the open position of the bit is restricted by a surface of the pivotable bit jaw (4) bearing against the distal upper edge (12) of the push rod (7, 8). |
