摘要 This continuously variable transmission consists essentially of two planetary mechanisms, an angular worm drive and a hydraulic pump for torque control. The two planetary mechanisms lie (axially) parallel and adjacent to one another and the crown wheel of planetary mechanism A, the said crown wheel also having external toothing, meshes with the axle of the sun wheel of planetary mechanism B. The latter is therefore somewhat offset towards the output side. An angular worm drive, likewise on the output side, leads from the sun-wheel axle of A to the crown wheel of B. (also worm). The sun-wheel axle of A is furthermore provided with a (valve-controlled) hydraulic pump (likewise on the output side). The input is to the planet-wheel set of A and the output from the planet-wheel set of B. (other variations possible). When the hydraulic pump (and therefore also the worm drive, the sun-wheel axle of A and the crown wheel of B) is locked, the continuously variable transmission transmits with the nominal transmission ratio. If the reaction torque rises, the sun-wheel axle of A is released by the hydraulic pump and, via the angular worm drive, transmits part of the input torque to the crown wheel of B. The torque is thereby increased in the event of a decrease in speed on the output side and vice versa. Variable control of the hydraulic pump makes possible a variable torque characteristic. <IMAGE>
