PURPOSE:To obtain picture images having sufficiently high density and contg. no black spots stably and many times repeatedly by carrying out development with a toner consisting of binder resin particles, fine org. particles having smaller particle size than the binder resin particles, and fine inorganic particles. CONSTITUTION:A reproduced picture image is formed by developing an electrostatic latent image on a latent image carrier 10 constituted of laminated amorphous silicon having a surface-modified layer 16, and transferring an obtd. toner image to a transfer material. A mixture of binder resin particles, fine org. particles (A) having a smaller particle size than said binder resin particles, and fine inorganic particles (B) is used for the toner constituting a developing agent. Said particles (A) are pref. constituted of a vinyl polymer, particularly, poly(methyl methacrylate), and said particles (B) are pref. constituted of silica or surface-treated silica. Further, the layer 16 is preferred to be formed by introducing H and/or halogen into an amorphous silicon layer, and introducing further C, O, N, etc. |
