<p>PURPOSE:To record a successive signal which is newly recorded, from a top without fail by once rewinding a magnetic tape only by the same quantity as the case of a recording pause means with a reproducing mode and allowing it to be stand-by when a device is used for edition. CONSTITUTION:When an edition instructing switch 5 is turned on and the reproducing of a successive signal is finished, a pause switch 2 in a recording side is operated and the sending of the magnetic tape is once stopped. Then, the tape is allowed to be stand-by in a condition to be rewound from the stopped position. During this operation, the next search is executed in a reproducing side and by operating the pause switch 2 just before a recorded part, an editing time reproducing pause means is operated and even in the reproducing side, the sending of the magnetic tape is once stopped. Then, the tape is allowed to be stand-by in the condition to be rewound from the position. When the canceling of both pauses is executed simultaneously, a phase matching is executed. When phases are matched and the tape achieves the position where a pause-ON is first executed, the recording is restarted and the reproducing of the successive signal to be next recorded is started even in the reproducing side with a timing to restart the recording. Thus, the successive signal to be next recorded can be recorded from the top without fail.</p> |
