PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a signal exclusive adaptor by providing an output interface comprising the parallel connection of an electrooptic converter and a driver circuit and an input/output interface ORing outputs of an shotoelectric converter and a receiver circuit. CONSTITUTION:In using an optical signal only for the transmission/reception, the output of an optical transmission converter 2 and an input of an optical reception converter 3 are connected respectively to a transmitting circuit. In using only an electric signal for the transmission/reception for example, the input of a receiving circuit 4 and the output of a driving circuit 5 are supplied respectively to the transmitting circuit and a cap is fitted to the input side of the optical/reception converter 3 to evade excess light, thereby attaining stable transmission/reception. In using both the optical signal and the electric signal for the transmission/reception, an output interface 30 or an input interface 40 is used properly to attain the combination. |
