PURPOSE:To shorten an image decoding time by using plural picture CODECs, decoding plural images at high speed, decoding a next one in the sequence of the picture CODECs in which one decoding is completed and repeating it thereafter. CONSTITUTION:When the plural picture CODECs 5, 6 are operated in parallel and image compressed-data more than the number of picture CODECs are decoded, the next image is decoded in the sequence of the picture CODECs in which the decoding of the one image is completed and it is repeated thereafter. Thereby, a processing speed is high, and even in case of considering a compression data transfer time, only the first image influences to the processing speed so that good efficiency is obtained. |
