The holder, for flowers, etc., comprises an inner portion with a bottom and enclosed by an outer one, the two being joined together at the top. The connection between them is detachable, typically comprising snap tongues engaging in grooves (4,5). Where the holder is rectangular, there can be eight tongues or grooves on each, in pairs at opposite sides of the corners.
