<p>PURPOSE:To increase the bonding speed with tissue and to make bonding strength sufficient, by bonding and fixing collagen to the appropriate place of the embedding part to a living body of a percutaneous terminal main body. CONSTITUTION:A main body 1 is separated into an embedding part to a living body and an exposed part across a constricted part 1a being a boundary position and formed of a ceramic material, a metal or glass. A conductive member for electrically connecting the inside and outside of a living body or a communication member 3 for mechanically connecting the inside and outside of the living body is passed through a piercing hole 2 and the gap with the piercing hole 2 is filled with an adhesive having no toxicity to fix said member 3. Collagen 4 is bonded and fixed to the side peripheral surface of the main body 1. Collagen 4 has not only bio-compatibility but also the good adhesion characteristic with both of hard tissue (ossein) and soft tissue and adheres to the tissue rapidly, strongly and stably. Therefore, the gap between a percutaneous terminal and the living body is lost and the possibility of the invasion of bacteria is eliminated and this terminal is safe and well in a sanitary aspect.</p> |
