FRESHNESS PRESERVATIVE FOR VEGETABLE AND FRUIT AND USE THEREOF

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain the titled inexpensive freshness preservative, readily usable, having safety, effective for all vegetables and fruits, comprising ground roasted coffee beans and a dried material of extraction residue thereof. CONSTITUTION:The aimed freshness preservative obtained by adjusting ground roasted coffee beans and/or a dried material of extraction residue thereof to <=20% water content and keeping freshness of vegetables and fruits for a long period of time. The amount of the preservative used is 1-70g based on 1kg vegetable and fruit and the preservative is utilized in a closed state together with vegetables and fruits.
