Provided a new input system to replace a hardware device such as a keyboard, a mouse, and a tablet capable of inputting characters to a computer by an easy operation and performing an operation, i.e., a paper icon, a paper controller, a paper keyboard, and a mouse pad. By providing an icon formed on a medium for reading a dot pattern formed on the medium surface by using a scanner connected to the information processing device, converting it into a code value or/and a coordinate value defined by the dot pattern, and outputting access information to access audio, an image, a dynamic image, a character, or a program, a web corresponding to the code value or/and the coordinate value, it is possible to start information such as audio, an image, a dynamic image, and a character which have been prepared in advance, start a program, and access a web without using a keyboard or a mouse. |
