<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the use of a concentrated liquid by placing in a container spherical members of not less than four, each consisting of the material which does not affect the property of a liquid and having a specific gravity greater than that of the liquid, up to a predetermined height from the inner surface of the container bottom. CONSTITUTION:The spherical members to be placed in a container may not be a perfect sphere which, for example, has flat portions, concavities or small orifices running therethrough. The material composing the spherical member must be larger in specific gravity than the liquid and the type which does not affect the liquid composition. The spherical members are placed in the container to a depth corresponding to that of the liquid in the minimum limit of the amount, with changes in the liquid concentration resulting from evaporation confined within a practically negligible limit. This method makes removal of the liquid impossible, when it is reduced to such an amount that changes in the liquid concentration due to the opening of the container poses a problem, thereby practically preventing errors of analysis due to variations in the liquid concentration.</p> |
