<p>PURPOSE:To improve the incorporating property and supporting rigidity of a fuel tank by forming a tunnel section projecting upward and extending longitudinally on the floor section of a compartment and fitting a recess formed on the bottom surface of a saddle-type fuel tank onto said tunnel section. CONSTITUTION:An automobile 1 has a light body B molded integrally with a cabin and secured fixedly to a frame 5. Also, a middle body 8 is attached to the upper portion of a center frame 4 and formed of a floor 11, side sill 12, pillar 13 and partition wall 14. Then, the floor 11 is formed in the lateral central portion with a tunnel section 15 extending longitudinally and projecting upward. Also, seats 16 are disposed on left and right floor sections defined by the tunnel section 15, while a inclined bulk head 17 is disposed in the rear of seat 16 to define a receiving section 18. A saddle-shaped fuel tank 10 is disposed in the receiving section 18 and a recess 10c formed on the bottom surface of the tank is fitted onto the tunnel section 15.</p> |
