PURPOSE:To process with one and the same efficiency in any directions of an X axis and a Y axis by making it possible to rotate the direction of a beam mode by 90 deg. on a machining table. CONSTITUTION:The position of a mode direction converting block is converted at the time of processing an object to be processed in the X axis direction and at the time of processing it in the Y axis direction, and the object to be processed is processed by rotating the laser beam mode by 90 deg.. That is when the object to be processed 5 is cut in the X axis direction, an air cylinder 26 is driven in the direction of an arrow A, then the mode direction converting block 21 is moved in the direction of the arrow A, and is switched off. Next, when the object to be processed is cut in the Y axis direction, the air cylinder 26 is driven in the direction of the arrow B, then the mode direction converting block 21 is moved in the direction of the arrow B, and is switched on. Thus, by switching the mode converting block 21 on and off, the moving direction of the processing table 6 always coincide with the direction of a master axis of the laser beam 2b of 2f, so that the processing can be possible with a same efficiency in any directions of the X axis and the Y axis can be possible. |
