发明名称 OXIDATION RESISTANT RARE EARTH ALLOY POWDER
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve oxidation resistance and preservable property by coating the powder surface of a rare earth alloy having a specific compsn. with monocarboxylic acid or the reaction product of monocarboxylic acid with polyhydric alcohol. CONSTITUTION:The powder surface of the rare earth alloy expressed by Rx(Fe1-xCoa)100-x-yByMz is coated with monocarboxylic acid such as stearic acid or the reaction product of monocarboxylic acid with the polyhydric alcohol. In the formula, R denotes >=1 kinds of the rare earth elements contg. Y; M is the weight percent indicating the weight of a transition metal; (x) is 25-35%, y is 0.5-2%, z is 0-10%, (a) is 0-0.5. The coating is executed by adding a treating agent liquid to the coarse grains of the alloy to prepare the slurry or pulverizing the same or impregnating the fine powder of the alloy with the treating agent liquid, etc. The amt. of the treating agent to be added is confined to about 0.01-10 parts per 100pts.wt. alloy powder. The fine powder of the rare earth alloy which has the oxidation resistant and is easy to handle is thereby obtd.
