The thread comprises a 50-70:50-30 per cent blend of reused and loosened, and fresh fibres. The blend is produced by cutting, forming, carding and spinning. Preferably, the fibres are of cellulose or polyester. The loosening operation consist of multiple washing and loosening proper stages, with emulsification by an anti-static agent, for use in weaving and in knitting.
