A delivery arrangement comprises a delivery pipe 10, a delivery housing 12 and a pair of agitator blades 14,15, rotating in opposite directions, above the wings 24 of the plug-screw feeder. The blades are enclosed in a housing which is firmly attached to the cast plug-screw cylinder 20, which is U-shaped along the whole length of the plug screw. Rotation of the agitator blades is brought about by vertical axles 16, 17 fixed in base plate 32 and supported in bearings 18, 19. The base plate 32 comprises a line of cogwheels 26 driven by a cogwheel motor 28 installed at right angles. The said motor is also located on the baseplate, and will bring about rotation, in opposite directions, of the interconnected cogwheels above the plug-screw wings 24. A reservoir, a container, a screw conveyor or a pulsed delivery system will provide direct supply to the delivery arrangement. The said delivery arrangement can then supply a process line, for example a cellulose-milling process line. <IMAGE>
