A squeeze bag for a manually operated resuscitator comprising an outer airtight bladder (1) having a gas outlet surrounded by a non-deformable sealing ring (6) which surrounds and fits tightly to a pipe section (8) connected with a self-expanding insert (2) provided within said bladder (1), and a gas inlet having inserted therein a gas inlet valve (10, 15, 16), the gas inlet having such a size that the insert (2) and the associated pipe section (8) can be removed through said inlet with the insert in folded state. The insert (2) of the squeeze bag is easily removed therefrom and reinserted therein and an effective seal is provided between the bladder (1) and the pipe section (8) serving to couple the bladder (1) to a valve system (17, 20) of a resuscitator. |
