LI-SPINEL CATALYST FOR NON-OXIDATIVE DEHYDROGENATION PROCESS

摘要

A catalyst for non-oxidative dehydrogenation at an elevated temp. in the presence of steam of hydrocarbons comprises a compsn. having a spinel structure with Li coordinated in the structure, an alkali metal oxide not forming part of the spinel structure and V oxide not forming part of the spinel structure. The spinel structure has approx. formula of Li0.5 Fe2.4 CrS0.1O4. The catalyst is useful for te prodn. of styrenes by the dehydrogenation of ethylbenzenes, and has a high selectivity and activity.
