<p>PURPOSE: To enable production with high dimensional accuracy and to necessitate just a slight space by designing tension members as belt-like elements produced from a plastic sheet material reinforced with a grass fiber weave and forming the members to a specific shape. CONSTITUTION: One of the component elements of the cryostat for a superconducting magnet 5 or the like having several pieces of the component elements superposed on each other and housed forms an outer shell 1 and another one constitutes vessels 2, 4 for housing a refrigerant. Further, the tension members 7, 8, 10 interconnecting the component elements all consist of glass fiber reinforced plastic materials and are provided bores 25 for passing bolts for fixing tension members to the respective component elements at both ends. The tension members are designed as the belt-like elements produced from the plastic sheet material reinforced with the grass fiber weave and are each composed of longitudinal central parts 21 having the parallel edges and enlarged areas 22 having the bores 25 to be inserted with the bolts.</p> |
