The invention relates to the field of chemistry and more particularly to the field of therapeutic chemistry. Its specific subject matter concerns compounds of general formula (I), in which R is a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl, methoxymethyl, or tetrahydropyranyl radical, or an acyl residue of a carboxylic, aliphatic or aromatic carbonic organic acid containing 1 to 10 carbon atoms, and a process for preparing them. The compounds of general formula (I), are used as the active principle in pharmaceutical compositions with a progesterone-type action.
