PURPOSE:To shorten a gas filling work time, providing a gas filling head, a high pressure gas feed circuit, a specified pressure gas feed circuit, a gas feed source, a remaining pressure release circuit, and a pressure sensor. CONSTITUTION:A shock absorber 1 is filled with high pressure gas from a gas feed source 6 through a high pressure gas feed circuit 4 and a gas filling head 2, and a gas pressure in the shock absorber 1 is rapidly increased to a specified pressure or a pressure slightly higher than the specified pressure. The feed of high pressure gas is shut off, and meanwhile a specified pressure gas feed circuit 5 is released to communicate the interior of the shock absorber 1 to a specified pressure, and a gas pressure in the shock absorber 1 is rapidly increased to the specified pressure. This constitution enables shortening of a gas filling work time, and improvement of the production efficiency of the shock absorber 1. |
