The invention relates to a device for monitoring the pressure of a vehicle tyre. In order to obtain, by means of a measuring appliance of the Bourdon tube 4 type, a correct reading of the pressure of the corresponding tyre, whilst avoiding installation of a needle, the Bourdon tube 4 is housed, for example, on a wheel hubcap 2 so that the separation of its ends 5, 6 varies as a function of the pressure; a staggered mark 10 being provided in the region of a window 9 of the hubcap 2, for example, uncovering the ends 5, 6 of the Bourdon tube.
