<p>The process comprising roasting, and integral or partial removal of lead based on leaching with calcium chloride soln. The resulting material then undergoes pyrometallurgical treatment to recover the lead and the zinc. Leaching with sulphuric acid soln. gives a final pH 1.5-2 or 3.8-5.2 as a function of the nature of the concentrate and the reagents available. The ZnO is neutralised and then solubilised copper is sepd. by sulphuric leaching.</p> |
