Head restraint for motor-vehicle seats

A head restraint for motor-vehicle seats has a padded support which is held on a seat back and represents an annularly closed frame. The padded support has fitted around it, leaving a central see-through opening, a padded foam body having two padded parts. The padded support has a trough channel which is open radially outwards. This trough channel has holding recesses which are open radially outwards over the circumference of the padded support. Projections of the padded parts, which projections can be folded back outwards in the radial direction in a resilient manner into in each case one bending point, engage positively in these recesses in a self-clamping and self-locking manner. Each padded part fits behind the padded support by means of an annularly closed, collar-shaped extension which frames the see-through opening.
