A vehicle jack which is attached to the floor of a vehicle body and operated with a hydraulic system includes a hydraulic cylinder (4), a piston (14) with a piston rod (15), and a base plate (16). A sliding bed (1) having a rectangular hollow (2) and a rack (3) is bolted to the floor of a vehicle body between the passenger seat and the driver seat. A saddle (5), which is integrally formed with the cylinder and is slidably mounted on the bed, is provided with a pinion gear (6) having a knob (7) and a locking pin (12) having a handle (13). The base plate is assembled to the piston rod with a ball and socket joint, such that it may land on any inclined ground condition.
