The swivelling device (1) has a frame (10, 12, 14) surrounding the housing (20) of a rotary table (2) on three sides of the housing perpendicular to one another and to the plane of the rotary plate (40). The frame is mounted by its opposite frame legs (10, 12) on side pedestals (16, 18) so that it can turn and be fixed in defined turned positions.
