The invention relates to a circuit arrangement for the detection of accelerations acting on a body, such as a motor vehicle, a missile or the like, with a plurality of acceleration sensors arranged on the body and each having a specific sensor characteristic distributed about a principal sensitivity axis, and with an evaluation circuit for the output signals of the acceleration sensors. In order to be able to adapt this circuit arrangement to different criteria, it is proposed according to the invention that the acceleration sensors are aligned with their principal sensitivity axes (A) at different angular positions ( ) and are all connected directly to the evaluation circuit (11, 12; 41, 42, 43), and that the evaluation circuit has a selector module (11; 41) for transmitting only those sensor signals (a) whose amplitudes satisfy prescribed criteria.
