PURPOSE:To make it possible to assemble a plurality of members during a course of molding processes by a method wherein two injection members are used while alternately exchanging two sets of mold assemblies which are interposed between the fixed platen and the mold rotary table. CONSTITUTION:A mold clamping ram 4 is provided between a movable platen 2 and a supporting platen so as to align the axis of the ram with that of a molding equipment in order to move the movable platen 2 along guide rods 3 by actuating the mold clamping ram 4. A mold rotary table 5 is rotated through 180 deg.C about the axis of the molding equipment on the side opposite to a fixed platen 1. Resins, which are different in color, are simultaneously injected from two injection devices 8 and 9 to two sets of mold assemblies 6 and 7, resulting in molding a single color item in the one mold assembly 6 and a two-color-product in the other mold assembly 7. Next, a mold is opened and a finished two-color-product is knocked out and, after that, the mold rotary table 5 is rotated through 180 deg.C so as to clamp the mold again in order to inject resin. Thus, another color is injection-molded onto the previously molded single-color item so as to form a two-color-product. |
