<p>PURPOSE:To make an end surface to be displayed in an external appearance into a color tone matched with a car body color, by applying a metallic coating to a cover layer, of rubber. CONSTITUTION:A sealing member 3 is provided by interposing between a forward edge of an engine hood 1 and the top of a head lamp 2. A main body 31 of the sealing member 3 is comprised of sponge rubber, a cover layer 32 comprised of rubber not containing carbon black is formed on the front end surface 311 of the main body 31 and a metallic coating 33 is applied to the cover layer 32. With this construction, the engine hood 1 and sealing member 3 display a feeling of one body and an external appearance of the front part of an automobile becomes smart.</p> |
