The text processing unit contains an orientation device, in which a match is achieved between a first position value which depends on the relative position of a text block, which is selected for display on a screen in a current text file, and a second position value, which depends on the relative position of a pointer which is assigned to a display field of constant magnitude which is shown on the screen, depending on a relative position which can be changed using an input, by tracking the other relative position.
