The method for displaying the input character with proper size on a CRT. The difference amount between the displayed character size and real size to be typed are accumulated when inputting characters sequentially. When the accumulated value is reached to the half character size, the controller provides a compensation code on the CRT to match the real line to be typed with displayed line on the CRT.
