An apparatus for opening and closing a speaker hole of a mobile terminal is provided to open a speaker hole of a mobile terminal automatically when a folder is closed. A speaker hole(31) is formed on a region other than a front portion of a folder(30). A speaker module is provided at a lower portion of the speaker hole. A speaker hole cover(51) is provided at a lower end of the speaker hole, opens the speaker hole when the folder is closed, and closes the speaker hole when the folder is open. A wire winding unit, which includes a wire unit(52) and a roller unit(53), is provided at a hinge device(40), connected with the speaker hole cover by the wire unit, and adjusts the position for winding the wire unit according to opening or closing of the folder.
