<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a treating device for reprocessing plant off-gas capable of reducing NOx in releasing gas by agitating recovered acid obtained from a NOx absorbing tower, feeding NOx in recovery acid to the NOx absorbing tower and introducing the residual recovered acid to an iodine purging tower. CONSTITUTION:Off-gas 18 is fed to a NOx absorbing tower 6 through a condenser 5. Condensed water from the condenser 5 and absorbing acid of the NOx absorbing tower 6 are introduced in a recovery acid treating vessel 40A to agitate, disproportionation of nitrous acid in recovery acid is promoted, produced NO is introduced in the bottom of the NOx absorbing tower 6 through a gal line 41 and recovered acid in which HNO2 is reduced is introduced in the top part of an iodine repurging tower 9 through a recovery acid line 47. Therefore, the NOx absorbing tower is enlarged, the reduction of the residual iodine in reused nitric acid and corrosion of the NOx absorbing tower inlet is prevented and the reduction of the quantity of NOx in the finally releasing gas can be performed.</p> |
