Specifically disclosed are: a prophylactic/therapeutic agent for gastroesophageal reflux disease, which comprises glycine, arginine, or both of glycine and arginine as an active ingredient(s); and a composition for ameliorating gastroesophageal reflux disease, which comprises glycine, arginine, or both of glycine and arginine as an active ingredient(s).
