An occupant restraint device having a side airbag device and a rear seat airbag device. The side airbag device has a first airbag (11) that, when gas is supplied from an inflator (7) in a side collision, inflates and expands so as to cover a side inner surface of a vehicle interior (1). The rear seat airbag device has a second airbag (20) that is received in a support section (41) formed at a rear tray (5) while being covered by a lid (31). In a side collision, gas is supplied from the inflator (7) to the second airbag (20) to cause it to push and open the lid (31), allowing the airbag (20) to project from the support section (41) and inflate and expand toward a seat surface (4a) of a rear seat (4). |
