PURPOSE:To improve travel stability by providing at a car body knee grips strike-contacting the insides of the knees of a driver at the time of travel and conducting a regulation so as to increase the damping force of a damper according to the detection result of the pressure of knees given to the knee grips. CONSTITUTION:In the case of traveling on a good road at a comparatively slow speed, a driver generally conducts traveling in a state in which his knees are lightly pressed on knee grips 4, and the pressure given to knee grips 4 is small. Meanwhile, at the time of a high speed travel or a curve travel or a travel on a bad road or the like, traveling is conducted as both his knees are being strongly tightened to knee grips 4, and because of this, pressure sensors 17 provided at a space between knee grips 4 and a fuel tank 3 detect a large pressure. As a result, a control circuit 5 is to increase an exciting current toward a solenoid 13, and the valve closing force of a damping force regulation valve 6 is strengthened, and the distribution resistance of operation oil on the pressure side increases and damping force on the pressure side is increased, resulting in an excellent travel stability being maintained. |
