Connection information is stored in data sets assigned individually to each connection in a buffer memory (PS) of the telecommunication exchange (EDS). This buffer memory is monitored continuously for the presence of data sets. If at least one such data set is present, it is transmitted using a secure transmission method to two separate processing installations (PC1 and PC2) of an information processing installation (RDE) where it is transferred to a memory arrangement (MP1 or MP2). If only one of the processing installations (e.g. PC1) acknowledges error-free reception of a data set, it is supplied with a control signal (ST2) from the telecommunication exchange, in response to which the data set which has just been received is copied to the memory arrangement of the other processing installation (PC2). …<IMAGE>… |
